Woodland Walk & Write – Jolkien’s paradise…

After a well-deserved break, Halfmoon Workshops is back with an invigorating Autumn walk & write, set in the mystical, magical landscapes of Moseley Bog Nature Reserve.

Moseley Bog was the childhood playground of The Lord of the Rings author JRR Tolkien, who lived nearby. He stated that the site inspired the ‘old forest’ in his books, and people come from all over the world to discover his inspiration for themselves.

What can the old forests inspire in you? Bring a pen, some paper, and good sturdy walking boots. Expect an hour-long walk, interspersed with a series of quick writing exercises, before reloacting to the next door pub for rsome hearty autumn refreshments, further writing and shared readings.
