Workshops: Saturday 26th January 2012,1pm-4pm (venue tbc)
Join Clent Hill’s writer in residence Helen Calcutt, and nationally exhibited artist Peter Tinkler to ramble the stunning moorlands and woodlands of Cannock Chase, exploring the myths, stories and ecology of the area.
This will be followed by the rare and exciting opportunity to take part in a writing and painting workshop, crafting your own creative and imaginative responses to the Chase landscape. Absolutely no previous experience necessary.
Taking inspiration from poets such as Alice Oswald, Rudyard Kipling, and artists such as Turner and Gregg Kreutz, join Helen and Peter for this unique outdoor workshop and engage with your own creative responses to landscape.
Places cost £10 to attend either the walk or the write, or £15 for both walk and workshop combined. Concessions will be available to students or those seeking employment. Booking is essential. Please book no later than January 24th.
